Broccoli Salad

"Kick It Up A Notch"  Broccoli Salad

This cherry broccoli salad took a distinguished Second Place from our celebrity judges in the 2011 Friske's 8th Annual Cherry Recipe Contest!   Grab some dried red tart & dried dark sweet cherries  
(we recommend Friske's Dried Cherries!  Available Online) and head to the kitchen!
 

Ingredients

Main Ingredients
2 large heads broccoli
1/2 lb bacon
1 medium sweet red onion
1/2 C Friske dried red tart cherries
1/2 C dried dark cherries
1/2 C toasted pine nuts
1 C feta cheese

Dressing
1/2 C mayonnaise
1/2 C sour cream
1/2 C sugar
6 tbsp black cherry balsamic vinegar

Mix dressing together in small mixing bowl or 2 cup bowl
 

Utensils

• fry pan
• mixing bowls, large
• small mixing bowl for dressing 
   

Directions

Cook bacon until desired crispiness & crumble.  Toss!
