Friske's 9th Annual Cherry Recipe Contest

In Celebration of National Cherry Month!
 

Date:    Saturday, February 25th, 2012

Time:   10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The two scrumptious, mouth-watering categories for 2012 will be: Entrees and Sauces/Compotes. Entries must be submitted via email by or before February 15, 2012. Six finalists will be named in each category and final judging will take place on Saturday, February 25th at 10:30 a.m. Winners will receive fantastic prize packages! If you don't plan to enter a recipe, come join the fun anyway! After the winners have been selected, everyone will have a chance to taste all the cherry deliciousness!

2011 WINNERS! - Friske's 8th Annual Cherry Recipe Contest

Friske's 8th Annual Cherry Recipe Contest was held Saturday, February 26th, 2011.  Returning celebrity judges included Traverse City radio personality Ron Jolly (WTCM Radio), chef Pete Peterson (of Tapawingo fame), writer & restaurant critic Patty Stearns (formerly of the Detroit Free Press), and community editor Babette Stenuis Stolz (Petoskey News-Review). 

Much fun and mouth-watering gourmet cherry entries were shared by us all, so don't miss the fun in 2012!   Winners for our 2011 Friske's Cherry Recipe contest are posted below with some of their delicious recipes located in our Recipes & More section.
