The ultimate tour stop! Conveniently located on US Highway 31 between Petoskey and Traverse City...ample bus parking, clean restrooms, cafe, bakery, fruit stand, specialty foods and unique northern Michigan gifts ...

Friske's Orchard Farm Market has long been a pleasant "halfway point" stop for bus tours and large groups of all kinds.  Being located between the common tourist destinations of Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey and Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island has allowed many travelers to experience this northern Michigan destination.  Our one-of-a-kind combination of orchard offerings along with a scratch bakery, breakfast & lunch cafe, and extensive shopping allows Tour Directors to choose from a variety of activities.

Whether you stop for specialty food sampling and shopping; to experience a piece of our homemade award-winning cherry pie with Moomer's famous ice cream; or to enjoy lunch and a picturesque wagon ride through the orchard, rest assured we will endeavor to ensure your visit is unforgettable. You'll create lasting memories as you leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life to spend some magical time together, in or around our orchards and market. Discovering and sharing orchard life with us will be wonderfully FUN!

Contacting us in advance by emailing our Tour Director, Toni, at tours@friske.com, will allow us plan and customize your visit, making it most enjoyable and memorable for your group.  We look forward to seeing you!

School Field Trips

During the fall fruit harvest (September & October), the Friske family team offers educational group tours & school field trips here at our orchards.

An enjoyable, educational orchard experience can be had by all ages!  Discovering daily orchard life with us will create lasting memories as you leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life to spend some magical time "on the other side of the apple!"

We just love all kids (big & little) and strive to provide a truly rewarding experience for all who participate.  Tours include a guided wagon ride, orchard walking tour, agricultural & historical insights, farm animal petting zoo, kids playground and snack time.  Post tour shopping is popular and welcomed, but not expected.
